Self Immolation Prevention Campaign

This project was funded by Humanitarian International under supervision of family protection commission related to Herat provincial Shura. This program got started on 1st Feb 08 for 11 calendar months covering all districts of Herat province in two separate phases. The program targeted families, students, teachers, Shuras and other authorized members in the community as to deliver efficacious awareness for the act of self-immolation and its disastrous consequences .It was reported that totally around 50,000 people have been benefited from the campaign sessions in which 70% of them were female.
